In MATLAB, an adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) algorithm is developed for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The adaptive PSO algorithm dynamically adjusts its parameters based on the environmental conditions and characteristics of the PV system to efficiently track the maximum power point of the solar panels. PSO is a nature-inspired optimization technique that simulates the behavior of a swarm of particles searching for the optimal solution in a multidimensional space. By integrating PSO with MPPT for solar PV systems in MATLAB, engineers can design and implement adaptive control strategies that enhance the energy harvesting efficiency of solar panels under varying sunlight and temperature conditions.
